The Slo Mo Guys 3D Mini-Series Has Launched On Some Of The Headsets, But Not The Other…

by THE VR DIMENSION

With new games and experiences coming to virtual reality, you would think a particular ecosystem would have it, then all headsets on that platform, you would think it would come to the others as well. YouTube stars The Slo Mo Guys have an eight-part mini-series on the Oculus Quest, as well as for the Oculus Go and Gear VR, which uses the Save to VR function. With the Oculus Quest and Oculus Go, being able to watch this via Oculus TV is great, and Gear VR users can still view the series. This is great for the Oculus Quest. Oculus Go users also have access to Oculus TV, which the Oculus Rift/S and Gear VR do not have at this time. If you have never seen The Slo Mo Guys, all the footage was shot as a 180° 3D video, and the segments were captured at 1,000 frames per second to produce the slow-motion artistry.

The series includes the following:

Anti-Fire Grenades

Inside a Dome of Sparks

Katana Slicing

Fire Breathing

Jelly Tennis Splats

Rubber Bands vs. Watermelons

Rainbow Paint Bathtub Splash

Powder Paint Airbag Explosions

So if you love bombs that blow up with many colors, slicing with Katana blades, or even breathing fire, then The Slo Mo Guys mini-series and Oculus TV might be just what you need.
