I don’t remember when the shaking in my hands started — sometime after the shells stopped falling, sometime after I realized I was alone. The trenches feel endless now, twisting and sinking like they’re trying to swallow me whole. Every step feels heavier than the last, like the mud is pulling at me, begging me to give up and stay buried here. I’m so tired. My legs ache, my chest burns, and every breath feels like it might be the one that gives me away. But I keep moving, because stopping means never seeing home again.
The silence is the worst part. It presses against my ears until I can hear nothing but my own heartbeat, loud enough that I swear the enemy must hear it too. My voice, my breath, even the smallest sound feels dangerous. I try to steady myself, but fear crawls under my skin and settles in my bones. I clutch this old trench whistle like it’s the only thing keeping me tethered to the world I’m trying to get back to. As I search for clues, the trenches twist and shift around me, turning into a maze that feels alive, watching, waiting. Every corner feels like a final chance, every shadow a reminder that I’m running out of time. I’m exhausted, terrified, and barely holding myself together… but I have to keep going. Because somewhere beyond this nightmare, my family is waiting — and I refuse to let these trenches be the place where my story ends.

Features include:
- Insanity: Just because you passed somewhere already does not mean that there is nothing there. The environment may change with your sanity.
- Repeatability: Experience may change for each player. Fog type, some parts of the environment, jump scares, and objective locations will be randomized on each playthrough.
- Plan Accordingly: Plan your next move, as it may be your last. Peek around corners, watch your footsteps as some wooden floors creak, and always be on the move.
- Microphone Input: The enemy can listen to and hear your microphone, screams, and sounds. Make sure not to scream.
- Mark Walls: With the chalk you find in the trenches, leave your mark on the walls—your drawings will guide you when you’re lost.
