Don’t cross the streams! Developer IllFonic is known for their takes on two classic film franchises: Friday the 13th: the Game and Predator: Hunting Grounds.
We came, we saw, we kicked its ass! It appears that they’re ready to add another film franchise to their movie gauntlet, as one of the co-founders of IllFonic, Raphael Saadiq, claimed that his team is working on a Ghostbusters game during the most recent episode of the podcast Questlove Supreme.
Friday the 13th (was) the last one, and Predator (Hunting Grounds), and we’re working on Ghostbusters right now, and Arcadegeddon is out right now.
Who ya gonna’ call? Considering the fact Sony owns the Ghostbusters franchise, this is definitely within the realm of possibility. Plus it doesn’t hurt that Ghostbusters: Afterlife releases in November, I’m thinking someone accidentally mentioned their unannounced game early.
