The PS5 console has broken the UK record for the fastest PlayStation console to reach a million sold, breaking the previous record held by the PS4 by three weeks!
With one of the strongest launch window lineups of any PlayStation yet, demand for the PS5 continues to outweigh the supply, yet somehow it broke the record in August and is now at 1.4 million units sold.
With many predicting computer chip shortages to continue until 2023, it makes you wonder what kind of additional records the PS5 could’ve broken had it not had so many various factors working against it.
