For better or worse,, Capcom happen to be one of my favorite publishers ever. But there’s one thing you have to remember: their newest game you just bought will most likely get a re-release with more content and new characters a year later. It’s what they do, unfortunately.
While fans loved the Resident Evil 2 Remake, the opinion for the Resident Evil 3 Remake was more mixed. It was missing some iconic locations from the original game, it reportedly had some development issues, and you can easily beat it in 5 hours.
Worry not though, RE3 fans, Capcom appears to be making it right with..Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Edition!
Rumor has it this re-release of the PS4 remake will be on current-gen consoles:
- Adds new locations.
- New weapons.
- Improved Nemesis AI, will reportedly have boss weapons outside of boss battles.
- 4K/60fps w/ ray-tracing.
- New cutscenes and enemies.
This is all currently a rumor, so remember this could all be FAKE NEWS. Rumor has it that Capcom will reveal it next week during the Tokyo Game Show 2021, so we shall know soon enough.
