Space wasn’t supposed to be hard. My time there is not as quiet as they said. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Sure, it was rewarding with the treasure and the findings. But it was the unexpected that I was not prepared for. But it’s what has kept me wanting to go back. That urge to know what truly is out there regardless of the threat. I know it won’t be easy. I know it will be challenging. I know there is still plenty to explore, and there will be plenty of combat. But one thing is for sure: I felt more alive in space than in my entire life.
