These woods are my home. I made peace with my decisions in life. But I have everything I could possibly need right here. Wood for a fire and cooking to keep warm. The sun keeps me warm. I even built a bridge to make traveling across the ridges easier. Even the light of the moon helps me see, but sometimes I can see too. Something about when the sun goes down, and the sounds and movements start. I may be a simple hermit, but something doesn’t want me here, and I pray I have what it takes to survive this winter.
