They are preparatory and meticulous individuals who check their tools before they go out, draw up detailed maps of the routes they intend to take, and use the rhythms of the streets as blueprints which they can alter to suit their own purposes as they see fit. Every heartbeat increases the stakes, and every carefully considered breath brings them closer to the point at which they will put their plan into action. When the job does finally kick off, it is business as usual in the surrounding area. Alarms will be sounding, but they will form part of the constant backdrop of noise as our daring band of thieves navigates their way through obstacles which, as they see them, will actually be opportunities. Moments of great danger are going to increase in intensity and sharpen the stealers’ perceptions, and as they haul their prizes into waiting bags, gadgets are switched on and the speed and urgency of the moment start to build into a dazzling, meyhemuous symphony. Every decision is of immense importance, each move is vitally important, and when the thieves finally deliver flawless execution, they will have rewritten their own particular section of the city’s history books and severely shaken one or two of the powerful establishment figures. And all of this is being driven by a fierce, burning rage for revenge, which is going to be handed out in precisely the way that our band of highly skilled professionals can best deliver – with great precision, with grit, and with explosive brilliance.
