The Path to Mastery Will Lead To A Dark Rebirth and Eternal Growth…

by RiftMode

There is a moment every proper orc remembers. Not the first battle. Not the first victory feast. Not even the first time you hit something so hard it became two smaller somethings. I remember the moment I summoned my first warband. They were not impressive. A few snarling brutes, some suspiciously enthusiastic spear-carriers, and one orc who I am fairly certain thought his axe was a musical instrument. But they were mine. My first legion. My first step toward conquest in the grim, glorious realm. And from that moment, the abyss called. Not politely, mind you. The abyss does not send invitations. It roars.

At first, I expected to do what any respectable orc commander does: shout, charge, smash, repeat. But then I became more clever. Instead of poking every enemy in the ribs personally, my army marches forward on its own, crushing whatever foolish creatures stand in our path. My warriors fight automatically, but do not mistake that for laziness. Oh no. The real work happens before the battle. My army keeps moving, keeps fighting, keeps growing. But when a decision matters, it really matters. One wrong choice, and my proud legion becomes a pile of embarrassed corpses. One clever adjustment, and suddenly we are an unstoppable green tide. This is not how battles are won, but how an Orc empire is made.
