When The Soul Hurts, How Far Would You Go To Heal It?

by Mr. PSVR/2

Being a healer, I have always been able to heal others with my magical staff. But the world has shifted as we know it. The land beneath us is not as it once was, and the waves of the ocean above us seem to have turned. The land is not for conquering, but for peace and providing. With the ignoring of this, the humans and giants of this world have been sealed. But as my soul hurts, it desires to be healed. I must be able to succeed on my journey. If there is going to be a second chance, I must help those find the closure and the healing I need.

Features include:

  • Wield the power of the magical staff – a tool that is central to the game’s mechanics and story
  • Control Kazimir and his staff simultaneously and independently to solve complex puzzles and overcome strategic and dynamic combat
  • Combat is strategic and dynamic. You control the character and his staff simultaneously and independently: the magic staff levitates around the protagonist, generating spells
  • Traverse on foot or by boat, discovering Slavic and Icelandic myths along the way as you help others overcome their hardships and grief
  • Explore a unique sea-worshiping world with whale gods, resembling the vast landscapes of Iceland
  • The art style was inspired by post-impressionism, and the colors of Selfloss were chosen with reference to color theories, particularly Simultaneous Contrast theory
  • Experience an emotive and moving story as you journey to enact the Selfloss ritual as a healer suffering their own soul-wound

Will you find the ritual that will save the world? Which myths will you come across? Can you save Selfloss? Find out when Selfloss comes to the Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo eShop, PC on Steam, PlayStation 5 on the PlayStation Store, and Xbox Series X/S on the Microsoft Store, as well as at retailers near you, and also on Signature Edition Games on September 12, 2024.

Enjoy the trailer. Until our next journey, happy gaming.
