Life is a masterpiece in progress. Every step I take leads off from previous decisions; every test I undergo shapes my character in a similar way to a sculptor at work. Looking back over my past attempts and mistakes, I can remember many of the key moments where I had chosen the wrong path. These “wrong” choices have formed the backdrop to my life, at times confusing, at times rocky, but always retaining an undercurrent of pull towards my goals. At other times, I can really feel an undertow of powerful force pushing me in a certain direction, towards purposes that I am not yet fully aware of. However, there are also times of huge confusion. The part of me which is trying to contribute to this wonderful, individual, unfolding story of mine is at times uncertain of how to do this. Often I return to the scenes of my greatest pain to gaze upon a most desolate of landscapes peppered with the detritus of failure and the many, many questions that have gone unanswered along the way. Yet, in the midst of the forsaken, the evidence is discovered. Each misstep was merely a new foundation upon which I learned. The more intense the tempest, the greater my potential to ultimately rise above the ashes of the entire cataclysmic event in order to continue on my destined path.
